Our Tesla now has twelve seats

Well, twelve chairs. I picked them up from The Table Station, in Bayswater, hired for a birthday we’re hosting on the weekend. The team kindly accommodated my “let’s give it a crack” when I suggested that we take the six chairs out of the other car and put them all in my Tesla Model Y. I used the buttons to move the seats. Easy. I reckon we could have fit another two or three.

Not content with the Tesla Tetris Triumph, I swung past our local hardware coop near home in Emerald to add some potting mix and a broom.

Over two cubic meters of storage space comes in handy.

your posts are helping me lean heavily in favour of getting a tesla Y soon. can i ask, how do you find the clear roof for heat, glare etc

    1. Jason Kemp Hi 👋. We find that our roof gets hot while parked in direct sun. It stays cool while driving, even on hot days, due to air flow. We typically just use a shade for the windscreen when parked in the heat, and let the cabin protection air con keep the temperature down. But that’s only if we have something in the car that would be affected by heat, such as food.

I suspect that the Tesla doesn’t get hotter than any other car. It’s just that we are aware of the temperature, because we can see it on screen.

I bought roof shades for our Model 3 a few years back, but took them off after a couple of weeks. I haven’t used roof shades in either car since, over the years.

We aren’t pro Tesla over other brands. There are lots of EV options there days. I highly recommend trying a few out, such as at the upcoming EV shows. If you still want a Tesla, you can use our referral code tom35395 to get a discount:

Tesla Tripping thanks for this. I haven't yet driven any of many other offerings yet. But I did drive a tesla 3 we hired. It's the first time in a long time I truly felt a buzz from a car. Up through the hills near Mulgrave Vic was amazing!

      2. Jason Kemp Nice! Yeah, we hired a Tesla Model 3 for a few days, before we bought ours.

Jason Kemp I have Tesla MYL, and in QLD I have not been bothered. If it does, there are many aftermarket screens you can install
